I'm not a huge fan of apple (I really love my desktop). But I think it's awesome that you'll go for a bike ride and then write a blog post while taking a rest stop. Next time you are out in the middle of "nowhere" you should make a video or podcast.

Hi James and everyone!

I'm originally from Atlanta, GA, USA, but am now living in Alabama.

I started blogging three years ago, first with the predictable "all purpose blog" then progressing to creating and writing a blog written from my cat's point of view for a year (really!) then a few more blogs - one each about personality, blogging tips, and study skills. Last summer I realized that the thing that fascinates me, the thing that I can't shut up about to my friends and family, is the internet. So I began my current blog, Internet Living. It's a broad topic, so I'm having fun sharing anything from a look at the Google Chrome Notebook to my latest follies in niche site development.

I have two kids still at home and a full time job, so I've actually tried to stay away from blogging a lot of the time so that I can do a decent job of the "in real life" stuff, but the internet is my hobby - and I hope someday it will be my career.

Thanks for this opportunity. I'm looking forward to checking out Evelyn's site and those of anyone else who responds!

Hi James,

I'm glad to see you. I always enjoy your articles.

Name: Evelyn Parham and I am from Greenville, Georgia, USA
Purpose: The purpose of my blog is to inform and educate others about healthy living, vegan and blogging topics.

I started blogging in 2008, but my current blog is a year old to day.

I enjoy reading, writing, singing and creating videos for my YT channel.

I started my blog to help others learn more about healthy living. I felt there was a need to educate others about this topic in a very creative way. I also enjoy writing about blogging. Sometimes I post articles about blogging and they have been very helpful to others as well.

You can learn more about me on my about page.

It's undeniable that measuring results (or lack of, if things are bad) is the number one factor to tailor your effort in a better and more effective way.
Plus, it's fun, let's be honest. Without the "fun" part, would we all be really blogging?

For me, I'm focused on growing the number of people who joins my mailing list. To me, that shows commitment to my blog and I'd rather have a small number of these type of subscribers than a big number of RSS subscribers.

But a better crop of subscribers are those who eventually become your customers (assuming you are selling your own stuffs on your blog). They have actually committed cash in return for what you have to offer.

Hi Christie,

Welcome back. Please you're well. I am in a lucky place and the moment, over time you'll see me promoting some new and upcoming blogs. This weekend was an experiment on Twitter to see who uses social media to learn and engage - to those who promote tacky products.

I wish you luck with your persona.

Hi Gabriele,

It's important to develop a network. We all need people in our lives and be connected. I can relate to having little time.

It's also about having quality people on your Twitter list. I've deleted 800 people from my Twitter account, because a lot of them were marketers, tweeting irrelevant information, the problem is you miss out on the quality.

No worries for the mention. It's important to get the correct balance in life. This evening I've been busy too, playing Squash then in the gym and keeping healthy.

Having a family is a huge commitment in its self.

I am pleased you enjoy networking on Twitter.

Hi AJ.

Yep life's busy. I want to keep this blog going because it's done so much for me. Guest blogging is something I've considered. I'll honestly think with working 40 hours a week on marketing. I'll have something to write.

Many thanks
