One of the blogs that I follow, Daily Blog Tips, had a post about this amazing new (to me) WordPress Plugin that allows you to add and manage an editorial calendar on the WordPress Dashboard.
WordPress Editorial Calendar Plugin
I just downloaded the editorial calendar plugin into each of my blogs and I’m I hear angels singing, because I was managing my posts with a handheld calendar and it’s as easy as I thought it would be considering that I spent 30 minutes choosing the perfect calendar (fits in my purse, pretty colors, 16 months).
I like to post at least 3 times a week. I used to post daily, but that became too much for me and for my followers, who couldn’t keep up with my writing. Now that I’m a member of several tribes on Triberr, posting 3 times a week just makes sense. I get loads of exposure for each post, I don’t overwhelm my tribes by posting daily, and I have more time to promote my writing and blogs.
This week, I accidentally posted twice in a day on one of my blogs. Dammit! 🙁
I hate when that happens.
Had I bothered to look at my pretty pink calendar, I would have noticed that I was doubling up, but I didn’t. The WordPress Editorial Calendar Plugin is going to save me from doing this in the future. And it’s FREE!
